Jo Jo White Seeing Much Better Now
With LASIK Surgery

Legendary Boston basketball forward Jo Jo White, still a “player” in The Boston Celtics organization as Director of Special Projects, now sees much clearer – and without glasses.

“It’s so much more convenient, without the glasses,” said White. “It was very smooth and easy. I didn’t miss a beat.”

Both Jo Jo and his wife, Deborah, were treated by Drs. Wilson Horsley and Nilesh M. Sheth of the Sheth-Horsley Eye Center this winter using the new Wave Scan Excimer laser by Visx.

Jo Jo was back at work – actually at one of his daughters’ soccer matches – the next day. He felt so well he didn’t want to come in for the typical follow-up exam after a few days.

Jo Jo is very busy with helping the Boston Celtics and with charity events. He is a natural posing for photos and likes the way he looks without glasses that reflect photographers’ lights.
